ประเพณีไหว้เทวดา เป็นประเพณีที่จัดขึ้นหลังวันตรุษจีน 9 วัน ในวัน 9 ค่ำ เดือน 1 ตามปฏิทินจีน เป็นการบูชาเทวดาเพื่อให้ท่านปกป้องคุ้มครองให้อยู่เย็นเป็นสุข ผู้คนชาวจีนจะจัดของไหว้ ขนมมงคล ผลไม้มงคล รวมถึงสัญลักษณ์ในประเพณี ต้นอ้อย 1 คู่ และขนมเจดีย์น้ำตาล มาตั้งไหว้ในช่วงช้ามืด บริเวณหน้าบ้านของแต่ละบ้าน ซึ่งบริเวณถลาง และตลาดย่านตัวเมืองภูเก็ตจะสามารถ เห็นความสวยงามของโต๊ะไหว้ และแสงเทียนตลอดแนวถนน ตั้งแต่ 5 ทุ่มของวัน
